File handling and installation
BEFORE YOU BEGINDoes importing an official BIN update the camera?
No. The BIN is used only in this browser to read and verify the firmware resource profile. The website does not connect to the camera or write files to the SD card.
Does generating a ZIP mean the shutdown image has been installed?
No. The step 04 preparation package only stages the new image on the camera; the display stays as it is. After readback passes, download the install package in step 05, copy it to the SD card root again, and run it on the camera to replace the image. Verify the result in step 06. Legacy sessions follow their original verification steps.
How do I verify an installation and restore the image?
After running the package on the camera, reconnect the card to your computer and select the SD card root. The tool matches files for this session and verifies them; manual readback and JSON import remain in Advanced options. Finally, confirm that the image displays correctly and Script is disabled. Keep the package and session record. The restoration page is currently for testing and requires separate validation. [Illustration]
